MCB has worked to ensure business continuity of its operations. The following measures have been taken as to payment services:
- MCB’s cut-off time for processing of payment instructions is being brought to 1:00 p.m.
- The Bank is ensuring provision of essential services with a reduced staff and is processing instructions on a best effort basis. Consequently, instructions received and not processed on the same day will be handled on the following day.
- For the safety of our staff working on site, the bank requests clients not to send hardcopies of documents as these may potentially be contaminated. We would therefore ask that all documents and / or instructions to be sent to us through electronic channels.
- We request all our customers to regularly visit our website for updated information on changes being brought to banking operations in light of COVID19.
